Most of you have had multiple scans, (EMGs) and the results have always explained themselves. This tool, is essentially an electronic form of palpation or finding out what kind of muscular compensation for these chronic misalignments and your spine. Just like a cardiologist uses an EKG, our scanning system gives us objective means for measuring this muscle activity in your spine.
Is it painful? No.
Why is muscle activity important? Muscles compensate for pain and or spinal misalignments by tensing up or bracing because your system is guarded.
How does this relate to your health? Just as a blood pressure cuff is used to track your cardiovascular health the scan is used to track your spinal health, and the data helps us determine your course of care and progress over time.
