Stop being the old YOU!
In the Tibetan language, to meditate means to become familiar with self and meditation is a synonym for self-observation or self-development.
When we become conscious of those unconscious aspects of the old self, we can take the necessary actions to break those bonds of habitual patterns that keep us stuck, blocked, injured. For example, if you want to be happy, you need to stop being unhappy. Like, stop thinking those repetitive thoughts that make you unhappy and stop feeling those emotions of pain, sorrow, and bitterness. You will need to think, act, and do something different. If you can turn on the frontal lobes of your brain, (get out of fight or flight), you can start to change those aspects of your self. That's what this work does for people in my office.
